There is a serious lack of devotion and imagination when the grooming highlights are Tokum and Schoolmarm compared to Heavenly/Brownlie and the Back Bowls/Mckonkie’s. This year Peak to Creek never once when before, twice a week. The Saddle used to be 100+ passes wide. In general the skier traffic is now like in an eastern resort and the conditions deteriorate fast and are icy because not enough acreage is groomed to support the lift capacity, not fun anymore and dangerous. Not to mention the quality now sucks and same for their food. Total Vail fail.

Whistler is not a great resort for most skiers. Lines are long, prices are very high ($200 for a day ticket), and the groomers are terrible compared to other resorts in BC and other destinations such as Colorado. If you are an expert level skier or snowboarder the snow and terrain can make it an incredible resort; however, increasing crowds and traffic are making even the most devoted Whistler skiers look elsewhere. In summary, if you live in Vancouver or the Sea to Sky (ed?) Whistler is the best mountain we have. If you are planning a vacation, go elsewhere for a more relaxed experience with less crowds and better quality skiing.

Since Vail took over, the IT system managing the Epic pass has always been difficult and problematic. The food, which was bad, is now horrible (how can you get a chicken noodle soup wrong) and the grooming is not what is used to be. Clearly this mountain is not managed for skiers….

Whistler ain’t the resort it used to be. Vail Resorts has ruined the skiing experience here. Alpine (if it even opens) opens late and closes early. Restaurants serve mostly prepared meals and some of them aren’t even open. COVID - they could care less. On a pow day the lines are well over an hour just to get up the hill. There are way better choices for great skiing in BC than Whistler Blackcomb.

Yesterday staff were not scanning QR codes at Rendez-Vous. This is against the law. Doctors at vaccine center have also warned that people have contracted Covid on gondolas at WB

Whistler is all about averages: if you put in enough days, then you'll get the powder payoff. Great terrain & amenities. Beware the deep powder day as thousands congregate from Pemberton, Whistler, Squamish, Vancouver, plus every visiting guest, creating upload lines snaking from Mountain Square to Village Square & beyond; upper village lines on Blackcomb snaking to the Valet parking at the Chateau; Creekside lines past the shops & onto London Lane & down the valley trail. If the high alpine doesn't open on a powder day, then prepare for long lines on the mid-mountain lifts. Many more people are "working from home" & for many that home is Whistler, BC.

I had 4 days left on my Edge Card and then suddenly they closed everything towards the end of Jan 2021 due to COVID. There were no communication from them telling me that I have to request refund by certain date and naturally I thought they would give me credit for next year and won't just take my money. NOOOO!! I was told I missed the deadline and they won't do credit. What a cheap move for a "World Class Resort"....really shame on the management. Getting rich by stealing people's money in the day light!

Well, even if they are not open, I will never be back. Have been coming for the last 10 years and last year I had to cancel for health reasons. My doctor filled out the form and they would not accept it, and I lost my tickets that I bought. Ever since Vail took over they don't care about their customers. Just give me the money! There are others resorts to go to.

Again, no alpine open on Whistler today. Vail is not able to handle the size of Whistler and the west coast adverse conditions. Is it poor management, lack of experienced patrollers (ac) and or just no drive to get the job done?
