Jackson Creek Summit (previously named Indianhead Mountain), in the United States (Michigan State), is a medium sized ski resort with 9 ski lifts (5 chair lifts, 4 surface lifts) but it only has 195 metres (639 feet) of vertical descent. It has 200 acres of terrain over 19 trails with a total length of 2.5 kilometers (2 miles) and is best suited to advanced and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and a half pipe. The majority of the trails are covered by snowmaking. The nearest airport is at Duluth.
