Skiing like it used to be (and I'm gonna argue still should be...) It's rough around the edges, but on a good day there's no better place than Glencoe Mountain Resort. Great atmosphere, great views and adventure skiing at its finest. Only an hour and a half from Glasgow; cancel everything and get up here when the snow and the weather is good regardless of what day it is, you don't want to miss it!
A mighty fine resort ....although I wish everyone else would go to Avimore so that I can have the lifts to myself....I'm fed up with folk complaining aboot the weather ..the stormier it is the more fun there is to be had experiencing that wild man o the hills surviving near death thing.....and it makes you realize how lucky you are when its a good day ....so if ya don't like it go elsewhere and leave the rest of us to enjoy one of the most fun things there is to do in Scotland when the weather is crap....cheers..

By far the best resort in Scotland for anyone who wants to ski on the slopes without having to wait in lengthy queues to access the lifts. Brill for those who arrive by car as there is not great parking facilities for bus loads.
Great runs and facilities for all levels from novice to expert!!!!!10/10.

This season has seen some awesome skiing at Glencoe, there's something for every level, from the adrenaline junkie to the absoloute novice !!
Only an hour and a half from Glasgow makes it the best run in Scotland - Fill your boots before the 2006 season ends.
Compact little resort but with breathtaking views and the best natural terrain in Scotland with a few long wide beginner runs and lots of drop-offs and gullies etc for intermediates and above. Also,it has the steepest black in Scotland and intermediates and above can ski back to carpark past a waterfall in good snow conditions.
All in all a friendly resort with great varied terrain compared to Aviemore and Glenshee etc and only an hour and a half from Glasgow.
Glencoe has got to be the most alpine of all the scottish resorts. I did a quick whistle stop store of the five scottish resorts early March 2005 and this was the one that simply took my breath away. The runs on the main plateau are the best, with fly paper the best for a adrenaline fix! The views of the frozen Rannoch Moor and down the glen were fantastic and the nearby Clachaig Inn offers some fantastic local brews and a hearty meal after a tough day on the slopes. All in all a gem of a resort!
