Banff Sunshine Village has confirmed it will reopen for a fortnight of summer skiing, from this weekend. The only ski area in Canada to be open into July.

It's so magical I bought a house there. It's cheap and there are no yobs. They are just very, very helpfull and friendly people and as for the long quiet up hill drive from the house, it's 3km drive to the top of the first ski lifts at Rogla. The drive is so natural it will blow your mind and make you come back year after year. The first run is steep and great. There is a great ski school and there is a snow park with jumps that skiers and snow borders will like. Five day ski pass is £100. For a five day ski pass this is cheap. Skiers will love it at Roglas' pretty house. It sleeps six people and I hope to rent it out for four hundred a week next year. What do you think? [email protected] - 01753540442
