What's it like at Mt Norikura resort?

Mt Norikura, in Japan (located in the Nagano prefecture), is a large resort with 13 lifts that offers skiers an impressive 500 metres (1641 feet) of vertical descent. The area has 237 acres of terrain over 25 pistes and is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. Mt Norikura does not offer cross country skiing but the ski area does offer terrain parks. The nearest airport is at Matsumoto and the nearest train station is at Shin Shimashima.
