Further to my earlier review I meant going not coming!!!
I first went to Bormio in 2000 and then again twice in 2001
staying at the Girasole at 2000m.
I then skied several other resorts over the next few years and returned to ski Bormio in Dec 2006 where we stayed at the excellent Alpigolf hotel [run by Alfredo and Elizabeth Cantoni which I highly recommend and realised just how much I had missed the place.
The resort has spent a lot of time, money and effort between 2001 to date and have improved both the ski areas and all facilities on the mountain and this year there will be a larger beginners area open.
The top at 3000m has a wonderful panoramic restaurant which serves very good food etc.
We are back there in early Dec and it can't come soon enough.
