The resort of Turracher Höhe lies on the border of Steirmark and Carinthia. A tranquil, lake is surrounded by wooded slopes to oneside and piste to the other. The lake is home to a few quality hotels, which rely on customers returning as their quality is unique. The snow came on 13th October, 2009 and has stayed since.
