Gerlitzen in Austria (in the Karnten region) is a large resort with 15 lifts ( 1 gondola, 7 chair lifts, 7 surface lifts) that offers skiers an incredible 1407 metres (4616 feet) of vertical descent. Gerlitzen has 300 acres of terrain with pistes having a total length of 40 kilometers (25 miles). Gerlitzen is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers.
