Currently skiing in Tignes and vdi. Weather has been fantastic, but some runs, esp. on Tignes side starting to get very hard snow. Looking out of window now and it is snowing. Snow showers predicted for tomorrow as well, so conditions will be perfect for the weekend and beyond. Vdi has better snow.

January 15, 2012 First time in Tignes. We got great skiing, good views, plenty of runs, ski shops and apres-ski. Lot of fresh snow already in December. We recommend.

Just been to Tignes for the third time. Great skiing, good views, plenty of runs, ski shops and nightlife. Snow this year is fantastic but a number of runs were closed and the cable car to the top is out of action for another month or so. Off-piste is fantastic with deep snow. Avalanche risk is high though.

Had a great ski holiday last year. Early season snow conditions were excellent. My daughter really enjoyed the friendly ski school. Great lift system, very fast uptake. Going over New year this year, so hoping for the same.

The SkiMad Club celebrates 25 years this year visiting Tignes the first week in December. Excellent resort for early season snow. We are looking forward to this year's trip, with our Midland based ski group.

What can we say about Tignes... Just waiting for the snow. Wonderful lifts, wide slopes, and it's treasure: La Grande Motte. I fell in love first time I saw her!

Being a 'Tignes-a-phile' is not difficult. The resort is fantastic and all one needs. Been going for the last 8 yrs with my family and also for day skiing with my best buds so in all 12 times! Piste or off-piste something for everyone. Spring skiing in Easter has never disappointed. Try the Tarentaise run if you're good off-pisters and fit and if the snows good. We are returning again in April and can't wait.

Just got back from Tignes and also went there last year. The variation of runs is fantastic, the lifts are fast, lots of other activities for non skiers and the piste management is first class, off-piste is also good. I have no hesitation in booking again. There is also a good selection of ski schools, this year we had a group of 6 and we used Ultimate who were very good.
