Winter made an early-season entrance in Australia overnight, with a polar blast from the Antarctic dumping up to 15cm of fresh snow on the slopes as temperatures tumbled to around -2.C.

After skiing Mt Hutt for over 20 years it was a pleasant surprise to find the uncrowded slopes of Roundhill for my family and myself. The road up was a pleasure. If you are looking for top scenery and friendly people give this field a go.
