Maravilloso centro de ski con la temporada más larga de Sudamérica. He sido testigo de su crecimiento año a año, y no me cabe duda que va directamente a convertirse en el centro más atractivo de Chile. La nieve sobra y es de excelente calidad, el dominio esquiable es amplio y para todos los gustos, mucha opción para itinerarios de randoneé y moto de nieve (y no cobran por pasar como en otros centros), el entorno es sobrecogedor con sus imponentes araucarias y el volcán Lonquimay, la concesión muy bien administrada y la atención en general muy amable. Por otra parte está el pueblo de Malalcahuello, a 8 kms. del centro de ski, en donde se puede encontrar una amplia gama de alojamientos, restoranes, una cerveza artesanal (Tikian) de otro mundo y servicios básicos en general. Ojo, no hay cajero automático ni bencinera, que se encuentran en Curacautín o Lonquimay, ambas ciudades a mas o menos 30 kms. distantes. Es bueno saber que en un lugar donde NO falta la nieve, Corralco está haciendo un muy buen trabajo para que a los que nos gusta el ski y snowboard tengamos un lugar donde siempre nos vamos a sorprender.
