What's it like at Corralco resort?

Corralco Mountain & Ski Resort is located in the centre of the Araucanía region, on the Lonquimay volcano. It appeals to intermediates but the quality of snow makes for great sliding all round. There is good cross-country touring with a rental facility on the slopes. There are slope-side services for accommodation and dining. Corralco Mountain & Ski Resort is open every day during the snow season, from 9:00 am to 17:00 pm. Contact [email protected] for bookings.

    Acabo de visitar Corralco por primera vez, esquié desde el 13 al 16 de septiembre 2020, buen centro de ski, pistas amplias y variadas. Lamentablemente el andarivel más alto "cumbre" lo abrieron solamente dos días, un día no abrió por mucho viento, y el día 16 de septiembre sin razones, estuvo despejado y hubo poco viento, habíamos pocos esquiadores, una lástima que el centro de ski que aspira a ser de primer nivel haga estos ahorros. Si alguien de la administración lee esto, que revise razones de no abrir andarivel cumbre el 16 de septiembre 2020. A diferencia de cualquier otro centro de ski, en éste los ayudantes de andarivel a veces no están, en recepción al final de telesilla debes arreglártelas por tu cuenta, bajada de telesillas insólitamente no tienen pendiente de bajada, por lo que requieres algo de destreza.
