With two other friends from USA and Philippines we were last weekend in Brezovica. This is a great place. The mountains are beautiful. Of course, that always is possible more infrasructure. But this is an ecxellent place. There are great restaurants with great food. We stayed at the Woodland Hotel, it is a hotel with all the standards and with very profesional service. We are already looking forward to going back. The ski tracks were in excellent condition! Do not hesitate visit Brezovica! I have been around the world and Brezovica is a beautiful place.

Hey there, I think Breza (Brezovica) needs a good investment and it will be the best ski resort on the Balcan area. I've been in many ski resorts on this area and Breza is the best. Just as I say, it needs better infrastructure. I love Brezovica.

Hi there, I'm the man who is doing mountaineering and skiing in these (Sharr) mountains from my childhood. I know Brezovica since 20 years ago. Belive me, Brezovica at the moment is in the worst service offering conditions, fx:no electricity, you pay for ski-pass and after 1h lifts are turned off, the road is not clean to there, avalanche in park place, every thing is possible there. The only thing that's good there is mountain slopes in north face with totaly 4.5km paths in use for skiing and other 80km not used from "men" that's gift from God.

Brezovica made me a snowboarding addict. Yes, it is rough and not fancy at all but the slopes, view and powder steals your soul. Smart investment will make Brezovica, a great resort as the mountain deserves and not over-crowded place to show-up your new glasses is needed.

This year Serbian company invested on lifts. 2 lift and 1 ski lift will work this season and new hotel has been built (very nice hotel). Now let's hope that this year we will have snow.

Last year I learned skiing myself in this center. But after independence this center was closed I don't know why. I hope this season will be open I hope so. It is wonderful viewing and skiing runway. It should be make more investment.

Brezovica is one of the best ski resorts in this area, Snow condition are better than in most of the ski places in Europe. Unfortunately, because of the political situation here, every year the season stops when it is at its best. If anybody wants information about the resort, he can find me on skijanje.co.yu

The terrain at Brezovica is excellent. A potential 800m+ vertical (more if its base were developed lower down, snowfall and snow-making allowing) is quite respectable. It's a shame that it has gone neglected. There is room for expansion, to be sure. And the season is long, with its shaded slopes facing north. It's a terrible shame that there is no ownership. It's also a pity (and a cause of extreme frustration) that there is no proper effort at crowd control, and the public seem to possess absolutely no concept of lift etiquette. Other than that, it's great... Hurry up and sell it to a proper developer. Be careful in your privatization selection criteria!

This is my 6th winter skiing in Brez. Sadly, there has been no investment as it's the subject of political debate - Serbia says to the local Serbs they shouldn't cooperate in privatisation but it does nothing to help them out. The snow is still great. Lifts function rather sporadically, often not opening until 11am and not on some weekdays. The restaurants and hotels up top are good as is Hotel Ljuboten at the bottom. For up to date ski info on the day call Pizza Tina or Hotel Molika or Hotel Sara. Gail, Author of Bradt guide to Kosovo - this has all the numbers. Available on Amazon.
