Visitor Reviews of Les Saisies
Pete Stringer from United Kingdom writes:
I was very suprised by the variety and quality of the snowboarding at the resort. There are so many different types of slope to enjoy that I have yet to explore all of them. The groomed slopes range from easy greens to challenging blacks which, though shorter than more famous resorts, do challenge people at their own level. If you enjoy off-piste then that ranges from wide areas of shallow un-groomed snow between the pistes (good to learn on without fear) to short runs in deep snow with trees to add interest. There are loads of little jumps or fun features on every run on which to play. In the many years I have now come here, I have never yet felt the need to explore beyond Les Saisies nor really felt that I have measure of all of the runs. A bonus is the beauty of the scenery and the relative inexpense of the excellent ski lifts; some 30% cheaper than the bigger resorts. I am an older boarder being in my mid 50's so the younger boarders, who enjoy the big jumps that are now beyond me, might find the place a bit tame but certainly anyone who wants a mixed bag of fun requiring various levels of skill will not be disappointed by what they would find here.
