Visitor Reviews of Davos

Guy Littler from AUSTRALIA writes:

I have spent about 100 ski days in Davos over the last 20+ years with my Swiss wife. Whilst the majority of skiing is best described as intermediate there are, however, a number of challenging runs particularly on Jakobshorn, providing you are prepared to ride a T-Bar. The attraction of Davos is the off-piste skiing, but be prepared to do a bit of hiking. Be certain to sign up for the ski school off-piste group or higher a guide to show you around otherwise you will never find the skiing. Nothing can compare to skiing off the back side of a mountain on a powder day into the valley and walk into a traditional swiss restaurant for lunch and/or a drink. The guides know the bus and train timetables so you don't get caught out and have to pay for a taxi home.
