Part of the interlinked Toggenburg ski area, Wildhaus is very busy on weekends with skiers from the local cities of Zurich and Winterthur. There is a large parking area an easy stroll from the bottom of the main chairlift where there is also a cash desk to buy passes. Wildhaus has a large children's ski school, next to the main car park. The other Toggenburg stations also have ski schools. From Wildhaus you can catch a series of lifts to the topmost peak in the area and enjoy a long run down. The views from the top are amazing - you can see Lake Constance, Austria and Lichtenstein. One word of warning - a hat and goggles are often needed as it can get very windy, cold or snowy. I've needed goggles every time we've been up.
