Just a quick clarification: The nearest Airport to get to Vals is not Bern. It is Zurich. Anybody flying in from a foreign country would most likely arrive at Zurich. From there, one will have excellent train service with the last leg being a yellow Swiss Postal bus. The same would be true for many other of the nearby ski areas of eastern Switzerland.
