Heard a lot about the changes and came to see for myself; what a fantastic holiday we had; the ski instructors where fantastic and the entertainment, top class!! Well done to the Tiffindell team. This resort now compares on a world stage. After being told many times that the reason for the poor food in the past was logistics and location the new team of chefs have proven them all wrong; 7**** food everyday and world class. Well done to the new takeover guys! The new accommodation block makes a huge change to a luxury resort!! Keep building!! Get the lift in next year and watch this resort grow!!

Good fun on two slopes, can be very very cold - even in Africa (-15 degrees celcius) Being skiing there for 6 years now and each year the resort gets better, busier and more sophisticated. Well worth a visit if you want to experience skiing in Africa. Night life at the resort very hectic fun!!

Tiffendal is a 250 bed facility perched in the shadow of a 3000m peak, Ben McDuie. They use the cold, dry air to generate snow to make up for the generally poor snow cover. Occasionally, a half meter dump allows for more options but the ski lifts are only available for the main slopes. With only two short runs the goal here is not to have a big ski experience. It is rather a good place if you are not likely in any event to get beyond the nursery slopes and need a pub near by to keep the courage up. The party is worth the drive in.
