Richard Neil from United States writes:

Located in Eastern Arizona and about a 4 hours drive from Phoenix, Sunrise offers the most terrain in Arizona. There is limited snowmaking, on the main peak, but the resort has purchased 10 new snow guns this year. When conditions are good, meaning a natural snow base of 48 inches or more, skiers of all skills will be able to find terrain of their liking. The resort needs major upgrades in chairlift capacity, tree skiing and snowmaking to compete with other resorts in the region.
