St. Englmar Ski Resort Guide

St. Englmar in Germany is a large resort with 13 lifts that offers skiers a respectable 385 metres (1264 feet) of vertical descent. St. Englmar has 15 pistes with a total length of 11 kilometers (7 miles). St. Englmar is best suited to beginner skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for intermediates but little of interest for expert skiers. There are 56 kilometers (35 miles) of cross country ski trails at St. Englmar. For snowboarders, there is a half pipe. A small proportion of the pistes at St. Englmar are covered by snowmaking. The nearest airport is at Munich / Munchen and the nearest train station to St. Englmar is at Straubing. There is accommodation located close to the pistes but we would welcome additional information about any hotels or chalets in St. Englmar.
