Over the past 25 years I've stayed at or skied through through most of the European resorts including resorts that share trhe same skiwelt area as Soll.
Having now found the 'perfect' resort i probably won't go anywhere else now and have been going there for the last six years.
The snow may occasionaly be 'iffy', along with other low altitude Austrian resorts but the atmosphere is terrific and the people are incredibly friendly treating you like friends and guests rather than 'punters'. Whats more it is a very 'English' resort with most people speaking very good English. maybe sad but it helps to be able to do more than just communicate.
I've naturally booked again for this season.
But don't tell too many people about it!
I learn't to ski in Soll, and found the slopes, the town, and the people, so much fun and friendly, that i've been back year after year. The local mountain [Hohe Salve] and the rest of the Skiwelt, may not be for expert skiers, but for beginners, intermediates, and for many advanced it is the perfect destination.
