Yesterday's afternoon storm dropped an unexpected punch, with about an inch of fresh snow in the village and a little more up higher, I found some playful pockets to ride in around Sunnyside, as well as, in the South Bowl. Today feels like a lively bridge into the weekend with a mix of sun-breaks and lingering fluff, and the forecast keeps the snow level hovering around 5,000-5,600 feet – perfect excuse to rally those snow rituals and nudge the level a touch lower for more powder.
