We have just got back from spending a week in Saint Foy and I think we have just had the best ski holiday imaginable. The resort is great. There is a lovely atmosphere with friendly locals pubs and restaruants and more importantly the skiing has been fantastic. Plenty of snow that seems even better when the mountain runs have breathtaking scenery through tree lined pistes. Second to none off-piste give Sainte Foy the winning combination. The ski accommodation just spoilt us. Chalet Helene (Premiere Neige www.premiere-niege.com )just at the foot of the ski school and 20 metres from the first lift made the usual trek to your skilift a breeze and the kids didn't complain once !! Val d'lsere, Les Arc & Tignes on your door step. We will definitely be returning!

Have skied this resort several times, and for some reason we keep getting drawn back, probably due to the lack of queues and access to some of the best terrain in the area... The kids are always happy too (big plus point... if they are happy we are happy!) Premiere Neige www.premiere-neige.com have a great selection of chalets and apartments, we also use their creche for the kids... Overall we find we get a lot more for our money here, lift pass is very cheap as is ski hire, restaurants etc... if we feel the need for some motorway skiing and the resultant crowds and queues we just jump on a shuttle bus and visit Val d`Isere or Les Arcs; they are only 20 minutes away...

I loved this resort last year. Not a huge pisted area, but there are fantastic off piste possibilities and Ste Foy's close proximity to Les Arcs, Tignes etc mean that a day trip to the larger resorts is always possible. You'll want to get back to the uncrowded pistes and lack of queues of Ste Foy though! We were thoroughly spoilt by Snowology (www.snowology) in a chalet just a couple of minutes from the pistes. I can't wait to get back!

What a fantastic find, not large but this resort certainly makes up for that in many other ways. Great off piste and powder , fantastic sunny bowls and expert ski guiding available. Many resturants in or near the village, try Le Monal in Ste Foy or The refuge in Bourge. On the piste accomodation try www.sainte-foy-chalets.com , we have spent a week here and you cannot get closer to the lift, any closer and you would be on it. Have great fun in SF , but keep the secret as long as possible

A very scenic little resort in a good location. Only 10 minutes drive to access Les Arcs and about half an hour to Tignes and Val D'Isere. If you are not someone who needs to cover lots of piste miles Sainte Foy is a great place to ski in its own right with nice powder, the few runs that are there are excellent and there is a big off piste area. The buildings are all traditional style too, and mostly new/quality properties which gives the place an exclusive feel. I love it, not everyone will though.

This place is al little gem in the crowded area of Les Arcs, Val Thorens, Valdisere, Tignes etc. Its not big but very diverse with good off-piste possibilities. The town is very small but with some suprisingly good restaurants like f.i. La Bergerie (www.labergerie.tv). Nice places to stay directly on the slopes like Gite de Saintes Foy (www.ste-foy.fr). The waiting times at the lifts is less then zero. If you like nice powder skiing, friendly people, beautiful scenery and are looking for something different this is the place to go.

Very small area with only 3 skilifts which are not fast. Don't go here if you want to ski or board a big area. But it's very nice. Good snow, few people and good powder. It is very puur. No ugly buildings.
