New Zealand’s largest ski area, Cardrona Alpine Resort, has announced that it is extending its season by a week. It is now set to stay open until Sunday October 18.

Small ski field below tree-line. Very few people were here today. Slopes facing north, which had better slope condition than Gudauri last week.
