What's it like at Hatsvali - Mestia resort?

Nestled in Svaneti, Hatsvali - Metsia blends winter sports with cultural exploration. It features two distinct ski areas: Hatsvali, with slopes for all skill levels, and Tetnuldi, a paradise for freeriders known for its abundant snowfall and also attractive to all types of skiers. Hatsvali, situated at an altitude of 2,100 meters, provides a diverse range of blue and red trails, catering to various skill levels. The resort’s well-maintained pistes accommodate both intermediate and advanced skiers. The blue trails at Hatsvali are designed to help skiers improve their technique and build confidence. Featuring gentle slopes and smooth turns, these runs are perfect for beginners and those preferring a more relaxed skiing experience. In contrast, the red trails present more challenging terrain with steeper inclines and intricate features, making them ideal for intermediate skiers looking for a more demanding experience. Connecting Hatsvali to Zuruldi Mountain, the Zuruldi ski lift is the fastest in the Transcaucasia region.

Small ski field below tree-line.
Very few people were here today.
Slopes facing north, which had better slope condition than Gudauri last week.
