Meran 2000 Ski Resort Guide

Meran 2000, in Italy, is a medium sized ski resort with 7 ski lifts (2 gondolas, 4 chair lifts,1 surface lift) that offers skiers an impressive 750 metres (2462 feet) of vertical descent. Meran 2000 has 9 pistes with a total length of 41 kilometers (26 miles). Meran 2000 is best suited to beginner skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for intermediates but little of interest for expert skiers. There are 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) of cross country ski trails at Meran 2000. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and a half pipe. All of the pistes at Meran 2000 are covered by snowmaking.
