Scholssberg is great for children and families that are learning to ski or if you haven't skied for years. The ski school instructors speak English and have some great techniques at teaching skiing for total beginners. My 7 year old went from total non starter to zooming down the slope in 4 days. There is a very friendly atmosphere there as most adults and children can't ski at all or well (at the start). There is a culture of 'we are all in it'. There is a gentle green, steeper blue and a more difficult red. There are 4 lifts. It isn't big but it is quiet with very little waiting for lifts. You can see your children nearly all the time. We stayed in Centre Parcs just down the road (5 min drive) and for a family of 5 staying all inclusive, it cost us less than £3k in the Feb half-term; that is lift pass, ski school, hire of equipment, accommodation, food and drink. Can anyone get anything cheaper?! It is not for accomplished skiers.
