Chris from United Kingdom writes:

Makov is a very small resort. It is ideal for beginners and children. We took our three young children and had a great time. The ski school was excellent and they soon gained confidence.

We usually ski at nearby Velka Raca, but Makov made a nice change and the night skiing was good. Reasonable prices for ski pass and hire and a good cafe at the bottom. A good value place to start skiing.
