What's it like at Les Angles resort?

Les Angles is a medium size ski centre set in the Pyrenees and part of the Neiges Catalans group of ski stations. One of the most reliable places to find a good covering of quality snow. There are a good range of runs for beginners and intermediate skiers. Les Angles is especially suitable for family holidays as there are large areas for fun with the kids, tobogganing etc and child friendly tele skis. For intermediate adults, there are a good selection of easy reds, though a bit on the short side. Advanced skiers might find Les Angles rather limiting as the off-piste opportunities are few and there are only 2 blacks, however, if used as part of the Neiges Catalans then the area has plenty to offer advanced skiers. There are nice restaurants in the village, and good food and reasonable prices can be found at most places. The night-life at Les Angles is low key without much for young singles, but it is great for families. Visitors can choose from alpine skiing, snowboarding and cross-country trails.

Darren Papani from United Kingdom writes:

I've visited Les Angles several times over the last 5 years. The mountain is great for a weekend trip with family. My boys aged 10 and 11 have both loved the slopes which are tree lined and easy cruising. The village centre is pretty with stone buildings, a dozen restaurants and bars. Within 30 mins drive are another 10 - 12 resorts. Choose Les Angles for a weekend trip which is a bit different from the norm.
