Been to La Tania for the last ten years and love it. Stayed at Tony and Julies chalets. Family friendly skiing; kids love it too. Easy access to three valleys from La Tania.
We stayed in La Tania from the 8th Jan with Ski Magic. All the team for made the stay an enjoyable one.
Great little resort with quick access into the 3 valleys. The Folyeres home run is an awesome blast at the end of the day. Plenty of ski in and ski out accommodation and a few bars to keep you entertained. Quick drive down from Geneva 1hr1/2 so good for a short break as well.
Been to La Tania for the past few years and going again at the end of Jan - great resort. Check out latania.co.uk for loads of info from guys that live there - much thanks to toffa for keeping things up to date - Toffa is a great guy - you have to meet him to see how special he really is - Drop in, Go Hard!

I have been to La Tania for the last 3 years around the end of March and it has been brilliant, with a quick journey (2 lifts - 20 mins) over to Courcheval you have access to a huge amount of skiing for all levels and that's without a trip to the neighbouring valleys. Skiing back to your door at La Tania at the end of the day is great fun and avoids the use of buses. Not sure if La Tania is good for beginners, but for anyone else it's top class and you won't break the bank like you would if you stayed in Courcheval. I will return many times.
I have been coming to La Tania for nearly 10 years and love the place. A friendly resort giving cheap access to the 3 Valleys. It has developed somewhat, but without loosing charm.
Enjoy a beer at the Ski Pub, although it can get crowded, or a quieter one at the Taiga Bar over the road. The kids love the place with no cars in the resort, the swimming pool at Christiana Hotel, (small fee), great hot chocolates and relaxed atmosphere. Magic in Motion Ski School good and English speaking.
Off again next year and Jo and I are looking forward to it.
Great little resort for families with easy access to the 3 Valleys.
Stayed in a nice slope-side chalet operated by Snowline in third week of February - great weather, great skiing, great food, great chalet hosts and co guests.
Would highly recommend this resort to skiers who don't want to (or no longer have the energy) spend all night in night clubs and bars.
Great resort, especially for beginners. Ski in ski out. Le Ski lodge has excellent friendly service and good food. Beer is ok but skip the Murphy's.
Very friendly resort, locals very helpful and speak English, bonus for us Brits/Irish. Definitely go back sooner rather than later.
We were in La Tania in Jan 06. Its quiet, but great access to Courcheval and the rest of the Three Valleys. The green back into La Tania is a big improvement, though for a real beginner it could be a bit demanding..better catch the bus back from 1850!
Pub Le Ski Lodge is hot and smokey, v noisy and Sky Sports on the big screen ( you get the picture? ) So try the Taiga Bar for a more chilled evening.
Seems to be 90% Brits in resort, some Dutch and French. We stayed in Chalet Celementine ( Ski Magic) which was OK, but a bit crowded : they said they would reduce the numbers of people down to 12 or 14 in the Chalet for '07, so if they are offering Chalet Clementine for 16 people then think about it, it will be crowded and there will not be room for you all to sit down at night! .
All in all I would recommend La Tania if you are into your skiing and are not too worried about ripping it up at night. Kids will like it, too.
Great little resort, with the *fabulous* new green run back to resort.
The Pub Le Ski Lodge however is *not* the place to be, unless you're into crowds, smoke, bad beer and Sky Sports. Do yourself a favour and get over to the Pub L'Arbatt next door - still a bit smokey I'm afraid, but a lot more fun.
If you have a few Euros to spare, head on over to the Farcon restaurant for a dining experience that rivals anything that you'll get in the Alps!
