What's it like at Krasiya resort?
Krasiya is located close to the Slovak and Polish borders in north-west Ukraine Vyshka. Krasiya (near Kostrino) is a long way from Kiev and fairly obscure. It is unusual in that you get to ski through deciduous trees as opposed to the coniferous forest of other Ukrainian resorts. Krasiya has plus points which include a reasonable little lift system, longish pistes (up to 3.5 km) and the remoteness which means that Krasiya tends to be uncrowded. On the downside, the winter season is a bit milder and shorter than at resorts to the east so it is less snowsure.
