Winter made an early-season entrance in Australia overnight, with a polar blast from the Antarctic dumping up to 15cm of fresh snow on the slopes as temperatures tumbled to around -2.C.

Starting at 11:00 am, guests can enjoy a free “witches’ potion” at the Simonalm in Söll, while the ski cinema in the historic farmhouse “Hexerei” on the Keat slope remains open until 3:00 pm. Ben in januari 2011 voor het eerst in Ellmau en omstreken op wintersport geweest. Voorheen altijd een andere lokatie in Oostenrijk. Heb het erg naar m'n zin gehad. Pistes worden goed onderhouden. Veel liften. Prachtige afdalingen. Voor ieder wat wils. Jammer dat er toen weinig of geen verse sneeuw gevallen is. Ons appartement lag midden in het dorp. Alles in goed berijkbaar. Verschillende opstapplaatsen Skibus op korte afstand. Hopen snel weer heen te gaan. Is prima bevallen.
