What's it like at Borovets resort?

Borovets is the biggest mountain resort in Bulgaria. The 58 km of ski slopes are spread over three ski centers - Sitnyakovo, Markudjik and Yastrebetz. The longest ski slope is 12 km. Borovets increased the number of snow-making guns and has now 160 guns, which enables the resort to cover 60% of its ski area with technical snow. The number of grooming machines was increased with the addition of a new Prinoth machine - Everest. There is 1,323m - 2,540m of altitude at Borovets

Extremely deceitful information for snow depth - top of the slopes hardly have 10cm - 160cm indicated. Even off-piste snow hardly reaches 100cm. In the resort the situation is similar with some artificial snow saving the season. A big question is: if Borovets claim 150-160cm of snow, why 50% of the slopes are closed due to lack of snow? Is it complete incompetence for the slopes grooming team or everything is a complete lie? The worst thing is that this is not happening only this season - it has been like that for many years, bu regular snowfall managed to cover to some extent the incompetence, laziness and greed of Borosport...
