Have skied at this resort for over 25 years. Snow quality is generally excellent with snow making only required on the high traffic areas near the base. Terrain has considerable variety - one of my favorite runs is Good Medicine - nice pitch through the trees and allows fall line skiing top to bottom. Only three high speed quad lifts in addition to old fixed grips but lift capacity not a problem. There's a lot of terrain here so solitude is available on the many remote runs. Locals are friendly, lift tix and beer is cheap, what's not to like? Whitefish is a great little ski town with lots of après ski action if you want it. Don't expect Vail or Whistler, thankfully this area remains authentic. Montana.
