Aspen Highlands is owned by the famous Aspen Ski Company, but it is another world and has always been an overwhelming favourite of Aspen locals. It's hard-drive skiing and the relatively high-speed quads have re-made the experience. There are29 beds at the base of the mountain at Aspen Highlands and 14,000 beds within 10 minutes.
