Just returned from Poiana Brasov.
I would heartily recommend this resort to beginners and low intermediates. The quality of the instruction is excellent and the nursery slope is separated from the main short slope.
Beginners soon move on to the more challenging slope, progressing in steps until they are able to take on the full slope using the button lift.
Conditions permitting, just about everyone will get to go up the mountain by the end of the week to ski down the picturesque blues and maybe even the reds!
The scenery is staggeringly beautiful if you are lucky enough to have snow, do not forget your camera!
We stayed at the hotel Bradul, part of the ANA hotel complex. the rooms were excellent, food good, service good.
All in all, fantastic value for money for your learn to ski or intemediate holiday.
