MT Buller has grown on me in terms of a great ski resort. Originally, for its relative short distance travel time from Melbourne, it is convinient to take a day trip from the city and have genuinely good skiing. Although Mt Hotham and Falls Creek and generally seen as the benchmarks of Victorian and Australian skiing, Mt Buller's snow experience is fun and quite cheap for students wishing to take up the sport, compared to the other two big resorts which do not offer student rates. For a fun time, on a budget money pocket, you cannot go past Mt Buller for a weekend trip.
