It is a small resort, but it's where I use to ski because it's only 2 hours away from where I live.

In one hand, it is good because I can be aware of the forecasts, and when there is snow, I pack my stuff in the car, start the trip at 5 in the morning and get there by the time the station opens and return home when the lifts stop working. On the other hand, the snowfalls are rare and uncertain, and it is difficult to plan your season holidays. If you plan to ski for a week in the month before, chances are you won't get no snow at all, unless you're lucky.

Anyways, when the snowfall is heavy, Manzaneda is a great place for begginer/intermediate skiing.
