Visitor Reviews of Manzaneda
Jonny from PORTUGAL writes:
I like this resort (Manzaneda) very much.
I thought that they were not investing any more in improvements but I went there in December 21st and the resort was awesome.
There was a lot of snow, fantastic new slopes, good organization, Manzaneda people are very friendly, the resort closes late, etc.
Has only one catch. It needs a lot of snow. If you have your own board or skis be very careful about the conditions. It’s also difficult to find a good hotel to sleep over. There are a lot of expensive alternatives for the quality that is offered.
Summing it up, I’m from Portugal, I live 280 km from Manzaneda and I must say that this is the best resort in a 300 km radius that we have. It takes about 3 hours so we can travel to Manzaneda from one day to the other, do some snowboard and be back home in time to dinner.
For people that live in the north of Portugal, this is THE ski resort.
