Don't have a fall or use your nerve on the mountain or you will be billed a "graduated" amount for a Ski Patrol rescue. 180 euros for a 200 metre ride down the icy drop that had been classified as a blue run. No injuries (except to pride).
In Australia free rescues are carried out by trained volunteers who are happy to do it for the prestige and for certain perks such as free skiing!
