Situated 1,650 metres above sea level, with 28 runs and 35 km of groomed and maintained skiable area of 10,000 hectares. With 9 lifts (one triple seat, three double seats and five surface) it has the longest run in South America, at 13kms. There is a vertical drop of 1,100 metres. It is a centre that offers some alternative activities. For example, there is nordic skiing, randonee, heliski, snowmobiles and sledges. The thermal centre has nine blue-water pools which are open all year round. With many beautiful natural attractions, summer here offers visitors a recreational and relaxing retreat with horseback riding, trekking, mountaineering and mountain biking. Located in the Bío-Bío region, 194 km to the east of Concepción. Chillán is 82 km to the west. The ski season is between 15th of June and the 15th of October, but worth visiting any time of the year with nearby attractions including Termas de Chillán, Chillán Volcano, Cerro Nevados de Chillán. From Santiago, Chillán is 407 km. By car, take the Ruta 5 South to Chillán town. From here the Ski Center is 82 km away. Leave Chillán towards the east on a road which borders the river. The last 27km are unpaved.

Hello!!!!!
Termas de Chillan is a great place to find powder in July and firts week from August, have a amazing slope...Pîrigallo and you only need 20 min to walk to find this slopes...and the Nevados, that is a Mountain out from the resort but you can go and back direct from the resort......
The only problem are the lift and that are to old...

in deutsch... ist eine schone schi gebiet, mit gut tief schnee, im juli und die ersten wochen von august....
die alte liften sind die problem in chillan...

In this moment chillan have a great powder in juni!!!! that is freak out!!!!!
Come to Chile to the best powder in july.......
