Western US Snow Report
Only Timberline and Beartooth Basin remain open after Mammoth ended its almost eight-month 2025-26 campaign. Timberline has been offering firm morning snow and softer afternoon conditions, although storms briefly interrupted operations. Beartooth Basin reports mixed hardpack and corn snow, with lift repairs expected to be completed this week. Backcountry touring on the Gardner Headwall has remained popular. Colorado's Copper Mountain also opened its hike-to summer terrain park last week, with public access available from Thursday to Sunday.

Western US Snow Forecast
Warm early-summer weather continues, although cooler overnight temperatures should help preserve conditions on the remaining high-altitude snowfields. Beartooth is expected to stay the coldest and windiest location.
