Currently, no lift-served skiing is open in North America, except indoors at New Jersey’s Big Snow. Copper Mountain’s high-altitude summer park closes this weekend after limited late-summer operations.

Early dustings have been reported on northern Canadian peaks and at Taos, New Mexico. Meanwhile, resorts such as Keystone target mid-October openings, with snowmaking due to begin later this month.
Forecast
Colorado and New Mexico may see 2–3 cm (1") this week, while temperatures at resorts like Jackson Hole and Mammoth range between 35–50 °F.
