The ski field at Vallecitos is located in the Andean foothills of Cordon del Plata (Silver Range) at the glacier-carved Valle del Plata. It is owned by the Ski Club Mendoza. The snow sure slopes, at Vallecitos, appeal to intermediates and the area has some of the best off-piste skiing in Argentina. There is slope-side accommodation and in the town of Potrerillos, 7 miles away. The season runs from late June to late September. The nearest airport to Vallecitos is at Mendoza.
