Tanbara in Japan (located in the Gunma prefecture) is a medium sized ski resort with 6 ski lifts that offers skiers a respectable 350 metres (1148 feet) of vertical descent. Tanbara has 101 acres of terrain over 8 pistes. Tanbara is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. We have no information about the existence of any cross country ski trails at Tanbara. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and a half pipe.
