Špindlerův Mlýn is the most important winter resort in the Czech Republic that sees 700K visitors over an average winter season and hosts many sporting events including World Cup and European Cup skiing. Špindlerův Mlýn is composed of several distinct centres offering a range of slopes for all abilities - Svatý Petr-Hromovka, Medvědín, Horní Mísečky, ski lift Davidovka, ski lift Labská, ski lifts Horal and Krakonoš. Between them, they offer about 25km of downhill runs. Svatý Petr is the main centre. The snow record is good at Špindlerův Mlýn and snow-making is excellent but weekend crowds can be a drawback.
