Tignes, one of the few French ski areas staying open into May, will round off the 2025–26 winter season with the return of the Tignes Unlimited electronic music festival, running from 25 April to 3 May 2026.

San Simone is a cracking 'little' resort. It's got a few fast chairs taking you up to some spectacular and varied terrain, sporting some super wide pistes to challenging off-piste. It's a little gem but with some sharp edges. Weekdays you'll have a mountain to yourselves. There's a really good gully from the top of the 2-person lift. I'm a little reticent to post this because it should be kept in a secret and quiet. Cheers Roy Jan 2011
