Reiteralm/Pichl-Mandling, in Austria, is a large resort with 12 lifts (1 gondola, 3 chair lifts, 8 surface lifts) that offers skiers an incredible 1160 metres (3807 feet) of vertical descent. Reiteralm/Pichl-Mandling is part of the Skiverbund Amade area that includes Schladming, Amade, Hochkönig, Großarl and Gastein. Reiteralm of Reiteralm/Pichl-Mandling, has 27 km of terrain. Reiteralm is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. There are 20 kilometers (12 miles) of cross country ski trails at Reiteralm/Pichl-Mandling. For snowboarders, there is a half pipe. All of the pistes at Reiteralm/Pichl-Mandling are covered by snow-making.
