Martin from United Kingdom writes:

This is a weekend resort for the Milanese. It was almost empty mid-week but the car park was overflowing by Friday. They seem to have a bus and lift ticket deal for Milan daytrippers, which looked like good value. We stayed in the village below the skiing though.

It’s really small. Only 2 longish runs to a fast chair and lots of very short runs higher up. That said, for a day trip it’s pretty good. On day 2 we were wishing we’d gone somewhere bigger though. It would be good on a big powder day mid-week though as it’s so quiet.

The town below, Barzio, is like a ghost town until the weekend, but the main square is pleasant enough. Food, beer and good coffee are cheap by alpine standards, even up on the hill.

Overall, I had a good time but I wouldn’t go back unless I was stuck in Milan with nothing else to do.
