What's it like at Mt Ilgaz resort?

Mount Ilgaz became a national park in 1976 and offers a magnificent setting for on and off-piste skiing from December to April with further touring possibilities out of season too. There are only two pistes at Mt Ilgaz, both of reasonable quality. The longer one is just 1.5km long. Mt Ilgaz has 3 lifts but we are not aware of any cross country skiing in the area. The nearest airport to Mt Ilgaz is Ankara.

    Ilgaz Kayak Merkezi, Türkiye'de kesinlikle olması gereken yerden çok uzakta. Ilgaz'daki kayak merkezleri incelendiğinde dört adet kayak merkezi mevcut. Yıldıztepe haricindeki üç merkez birbirine yakın durumda.
    Bu üç merkezin birleştirilmesi Ilgaz'ı Türkiye'nin en popüler merkezlerinin başında olmasını sağlayacaktır. Özellikle iki farklı ili paylaşan bu üç merkezin birleştirilmesinin zorluğuna rağmen, en kısa sürede bunun yapılacağına inanıyorum.
